Day 01: Muscat-Wadi Arbyn-Sur-Wahiba Sands

We depart by 4WD to Sur via the scenic coastal route. We first stop at Quriyat, one of the famous fishing village and the drive to Wadi Arbyen. ‘Wadi’ In Arabic means dead river bed.

You will enjoy the offroad drive at this wadi before existing onto new highway and continue driving to Bima sinkhole, a spectacular time-stone crater with blue green water at the bottom. Later drive to Sur. With a photo stops at Wadi Shab and Wadi Tiwi. 

We will pass by the city of Sur and drive towards the desert of oman, Wahiba Sands. After enjoying dune bashing, visit a Bedouin house to know more about their lives. Check in at the campsite.
Dinner and overnight at the Wahiba Sands.

Day 02 Wahiba Sands – Wadi Bani Khalid –Muscat

After the breakfast in desert drive on to Wadi Bani Khalid, which is a complete contrast to Wahiba Sands as it has natural pool of clear deep water.

N.B: In case you would like to enjoy turtle watching experience, an option to stay at Ras Al Jinz Resort is available instead of the overnight in the desert camp.
